I’ve been experimenting with 6.5’s 8 SF for a few years now. Started with 2-ways but had the wrong tweeter. Moved to a better tweeter and now have several SF MTM’s, which measure nicely and sound great.
One thing that I found the helps the 5k peak is removing the dust cap and inserting a diy wood phase plug. I never put the dust caps back on them, but that could be done easily.
Thank you for you write up on the SF’s

I installed the moss behind the speakers.
If you have the early reflection of the backwall mixed with your original signal you will have a weird and blurred overall response

So I have a stupid question… if I paste these speakers to the wall I will add more bass ? or just muddy bass frequencies ?
Thank you
Fred
